14th : Cultural Exchange Time

Wellll.......today I ask for permission on August 23, 2018 we have a cultural exchange exhibition in TRU. I didn't perform a dance but I using my traditional custom is called Kebaya and introduce it to TRU students.

Actually I dissapointed with my self, because I fail to perfom...I left my custom in my country......aaaaaa....I want to cry, this is a good time to show them my culture..but I can do nothing...regret is useless and finally I make up by myself and here these the picture with another students from Sea-Teacher Project

Welcome to Thailand.....

 

Thailand is one of the country in Southeast Asia region. This is my experience in Thailand...

Actually isn't  easy lived in another country that we didn't know before at all even from the internet. I met so many people but I couldn't speak  with them because some of them couldn't speak english. This is so exciting for me, its taught me how to comunicated with them without speaking. Actually body language is usefull...event me and they didn't talk eachother we can made a frienship although only smile. This is enough ...very ..very enough for a stanger like me....

so all you have to do... just smile...wherever you are

Day 1
I arrived at August 1, 2018 at Don Mueang International Airport...and the activities started on Wednesday, August 2, 2018. we collected at the IT Building to joined with the English Education students of Thepsatri Rajabhat University in the Respecting teacher ceremony. I found that the teacher is very prestigious position. I saw the students gave the teacher a gift of flower and when they gave it, they move on their knees, so emotionally for me.
and they sang for the teacher such as thank you song or a Hymne with candle light and all of the lamp is switch off, after that some students dance with the traditional music for the teacher.
